Steve Carman:  

I was born in the great state of Maine in 1972. I lived in Maine until I was 14 attending school in Washburn, Exeter, and then Dexter. At 14 we moved to Homestead Florida for 1 year and then back to Maine where I went to school at Nokomis. My junior year we moved to Missouri and I attended Morgan County R2 in Versailles. It was there I met my first wife Gwen Calton. We had a very fiery relationship but she was a good girl. After graduation I went to college for 2 years at Lincoln University while she finished high school and then we got married in 1992. I eventually dropped out of college and worked at Walmart for a while but I got tired of it and quit. My brother was working for the Wellsville Police Department and said I should join up so we moved to Wellsville in 1995 and I went to the police academy at the University of Missouri. The move was hard on Gwen and we grew further apart eventually splitting in 1996 and divorcing at the start of 1997. She finally found what made her happy and after a few years of pain and anger I became happy for her. I became the police sergeant and assistant chief later that year. It was also that year I found what made me happy along with law enforcement, Deanna Bostic. We were introduced by the police chief¿s daughter and after a year of dating got married.
