Steve's Story
Life
I was born.... then I wnet to high school, then worked until I went to tech school so I could work and go to school at the same time! I havent traveled yet. Never got married. Have no children. Plenty to do, need more time!!!
School
Finally went back to attend ITT Technical School in 1991-1993 to gain an Associate Degree in Electronics. and moved away from minimum wage jobs, to employment with benefits and good pay, including GE Medical Systems in Waukesha.
Workplace
I have actually worked at GE Med on Ryerson in New Berlin, EA ...Expand for more
on Electric Avenue, and HQ in Waukesha. I started out in CT Detectors, and moved around a bit to X-ray and back to the CT department, staging full CT scanner systems. Did you see the "Finders Keepers" episode of ER on April 03? Most of the technical staff are jack of all trades. We do everything from paperwork to rebuild any part or subsystem as needed. Everything from Electronic to High Voltage to mechanical and a bit of hydralic. Of course there is always dealing with people, mostly co-workers, and the occassional tour group passing through.
