Steve's Story

Life Since I just added myself to schools other than high school, I thought I'd better update my bio. I "grew up" in Wellesley, Mass.. I spent grades K-6 at Sprague school, which no longer exists. Then it was off to Wellesley Junior High and High School. After high school, I went to Boston College the fall semester of '75 and started at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine in January of '76. I graduated from there in '79 with a BS in Math. I went on to get a MS in Computer Science from Boston University, doing it part-time while I worked. Exciting, huh? Now that you're riveted to your seats, I have even more detail!!! Some of you may remember Pam Fisher from the high school class of '75. We were dating senior year, got married after college, had two kids (boys) together, and got divorced in '95. The boys are 14 and 16, and I've been remarried for 4 years and have a new son, 9 months old (yeah, I know I'm a little old to have a new baby!). Been living in...Expand for more
N.H. the last 12 years and different parts of Mass. before that. My parents still live in Wellesley along with one of my sisters. So I still get down there fairly often. Been working at Digital/Compaq for 19+ years now doing software engineering. Still playing and coaching soccer, amateur astronomy and photography, fairly large-scale gardening, and some martial arts (2nd degree black belt in two styles of traditional Japanese karate). Other than that, I just try to keep busy so I can forget my aches and pains and how old I'm getting! However, I'm proud to admit that I bumped into some folks from high school recently, and they said that except for a few lines around my eyes and a few gray hairs, I looked exactly the same. Of course, I still have the same hair style and am still wearing the same clothes from high school! So that might have had something to do with it. Hope more of you decide to write a bio so I don't have to pay for a gold membership!
