Steve's Story
Taught Instrumental Music with the State Education department in Adelaide, South Australia, AUSTRALIA for 36 years. Was a state manager for the service and IT Coordinator (the one-eyed man is king in the land of the blind!)
Married to an Aussie girl, Sally (met in Feb 1976 - she was almost 21!) and we have three great kids.
Just retired this last September. (2009)
Got a puppy for my 60th!
Had a great 6 weeks in South America at the end of 2009. Encouraged me to take up Spanish lessons again (after those at McLoughlin).
Into baseball scoring - was an Official Scorer for the new Aussie pro-ball (minor league associated w...Expand for more
ith USA MLB). 6 teams - Adelaide finished 2nd in Championships...yeah!
Really enjoying retirement - busy as. Playing in an old man's big band, took up trombone last year in the local small town community concert band, doing some conducting for State Music Camps and JazzSA Youth Bands.
Do miss the opportunity to catch up with old friends -- not many of you in Australia!
Googled Pasco maps - what happened to those areas out by the airport that we used to ride our bikes around and chase rabbits? It seems to be all housing developments. Where do the young people go to watch the submarine races? mr.steve.eads at gmail com
