Steve's Story

Life I presently live in Kansas City, Missouri since 1988. After graduation, moved to San Antonio 1984 -1988. I had planned to go to the University of Texas at San Antonio(after Midwestern State 1980-1983) but before I knew it I was working all the time, 1,2,and sometimes 3 jobs. I had completed many hours, but it would be 15 years before I went back. I am currently employed for the past 15 years by AT&T, Inc. / (Email/Call Center Operations) since 1994. Previously, I spent 11 years (1980-1991)in retail management and moving around and working in various Best Products, Inc catalog showrooms in Texas, Kansas and Missouri before they closed stores in this area. I now thought a career change was in order. Between 1992 to 1994, I was a Logistics Supervisor/Manager with Emery Worldwide (an airfreight company)customer service call center / national accounts center before being laid off in 1992. 15 year absence from school and just working, I finally managed to achieve my Bachelors of Science Degree in Human Resourses Management in 1999and have completed also my Masters of Science in Management Information Systems in 2001. At some time or another, I am always learning or taking classes or progams. I enjoy my home/remodeling, yard work/gardening, music/club dancing, history/genealogy, volunteer and social work. I no longer have any pets at this time despite still wanting more again. This list is longer but space permits me. After many attempts in between work and career, was in a long lasting relationship for 7 years and then rebounded too soon into another one for 10 months. Mainly was able to find, or attempt love between 1993-2003 when I was NOT working or in school. Egad...... But hey, What can I say...I am Single again for the past four years here in 2009.
