Happy bday dad - he would have been 88. This is from about 1955, out of the army, with our cat Ming Mao.
Ok, it's officially time to cook eggs on pavement.
A studio shot of my dad taken in 1964 for work. We moved out from Roseville, Minn. to Albany, CA the next year. He was starting a new job at Peter Kiewit Pacific at the time in Richmond, CA.
My dad, with our cat Ming Mau, was taken between serving in Japan and then Germany. Until my mom had shown the photo to me, some years back, I never had known my dad to have a beard. Great photo. Not sure where it was taken

We had just had Communion at our local Catholic Church and then whet to Como Park for photos. Mom took the shot. I was saying something goofy to my sister Susan Garson just to make her crack up. Always the ham.
We're so lucky to have a next door neighbor, Leo, that works at a premo pastry shop Fantasy Cakes and Fine Pastries 'cause he'll bring by the days extras - yum!
Photoshop illustration I did in 2007 of koi fish in our back yard pond.
A job well done
Scary tree.
Ghostly trick or treaters.
