I grew up in NW Omaha and attended Nathan Hale Jr. High and then NW High School for my sophomore year (1977-78). My family moved to the Millard area during the summer of 1978 and I finished my junior and senior year at Millard High School. I miss many of the old friends from NW and still have many friends from NW Omaha that I keep in touch with. I also made many new friends at Millard as well! After graduation I went to work for my dad’s construction company where I worked until 1988. Around that time my interest in law enforcement was rekindled, I originally became interested in law enforcement or something law-related after taking Law Studies with Mr. Brown. I began testing with Douglas and Sarpy County Sheriff as well as other local agencies. During the summer of 1988 I received offers from Ralston Police, Douglas, and Sarpy County Sheriff.
