Steve's Story
Life
When I was 16 I dreamed of living in Europe somewhere, writing, playing music and being a psychiatrist. I now live in the south of England, play sax (tenor and alto) and sing at least once or twice a week and earn my living as a psychotherapist, therapist supervisor and trainer. My short stories have appeared in several magazines over the years, I have had a musical produced at the Theatre Royal in Plymouth, and my articles on psychotherapy have been published in several international journals. places in the United Kingdom but I have yet to run a workshop either in continental Europe or the United States.
All things considered, I am pretty much where I said I would be, but the really strange thing about this is that, when I said it at the age of 16, I didn't believe it.
I was married for 25 years to a wonderful woman and when we separated two years ago I thought it would kill me. But it didn't. I am still here, in a new relationship, finding life very interesting and following this new direction with training workshops.
