Steve's Story
Life
After graduation I attended DVC for two years got my AA degree and transferred to Cal Poly Pomona in the Fall of1973. I was a resident advisor in the dorms for 3 years while majoring in Landscape Architecture / Horticulture. I worked in retail nurseries and for landscape contractors during and after college, then in 1983 I started work for a major developer that built single family homes, multi-residential, and commercial shopping centers.The owners sold their business to Kaufman & Broad in 1999. ner until their deaths in 2006. I sold my home in San Bernardino and moved back to Antioch to look after my parents whose health is deteriorating. I never married and have no children (...that I know of ). I've been in Antioch since October of 2006 and have run into a few of my former friends and classmates. I'm not surprised by how much the city has grown since I left but I am dismayed by the violence, the crime and the character of many of it's new residents. If you see me out and about say "hello" and refresh my memory if I don't recognize you right away.
