Life I was born and raised in Iowa but have lived in the Kansas City area since early 1990. I've been married to my wonderful wife Karon for over 10 years now. We both have kids from our previous marriages. She has 3 girls (ages 18 - 26) and I have a son (age 24) and a stepdaughter (age 26, living in Des Moines) from my first marriage. We now have 6 grandchildren ages 1 to 8 years old. My hobby is motorcycling. I spend most of my free time riding my Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Classic and usually put about 13,000 - 14,000 miles a year on my bikes. We are always trying to find new roads and new things to see, from the world's largest pecan in Missouri, to the Grand Canyon in Arizona. We have ridden all over Missouri, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, Arkansas, Colorado, Arizona, Nevada, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Utah, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, and California. Last summer we hauled the motorcycle to Yellowstone and the Black Hills and then I took a motorcycle trip with a friend to the Four Corners (Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, & Utah), Durango, Colorado, and Moab, Utah, via the long way through Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas.
