Steven's Story
Life
I was born on December 12, 1952 to Leslie Nunley and Mary Mauriel Larson. I was the last child and also only son they had. I have 3 sisters, so I know what it is like to live with more than one GIRL.
While on my mission for the LDS church, I met the future Mrs. Nunley. Her name was Sharon Ann LeVine. On June 21, 1980, we became Mr. & Mrs. Steven L. Nunley. We were married in the Los Angeles Temple by General Authority Robert L. Simpson. Later that year my wife gives me my birthday gift early. I have no idea why she is doing this. So anyway, she wants me to open up the gift first. I have this really weird look on my face when I see a candle shaped like a baby bottle there. I still have no clue what the world shes trying to do. Next she has me open the card. The card reads:...Expand for more
Happy Fathers Day.
Boy, did I get the shock of my life!!! I was going to be a father. I was so excited that I went out of our apartment and right by the street (our apartment was in the back) and gave the loudest yelp that my wife had ever heard. Later in this pregnancy, I had a very special experience with my son to be. He hadnt been moving much that day & I had just got home from school. When I came thru the door, I said Daddys home. My wife told me that he gave her the biggest punch that she had gotten. I was so excited about becoming a father. I am so grateful for this experience. Weve also had 3 other children since then. Our childrens names are:
