Hey Everyone...
I still live in the nearby Northern VA area...
Play golf, ride my bike...have 2 dogs.
Got involved in with a homeless animal shelter 12 years ago as a volunteer and created "the Jack Bear Memorial Lane" there. Friends of Homeless Animals Shelter in Aldie Va. Visit the site at foha.org and look for Jack Bear Lane on the menu.
You can find me at the animal shelter every Saturday. I tend to all the landscaping and trail maintenance at the facility (we have over 40 acres). Always looking for old friends to show up and lend a hand...you can help me make a difference one-animal-at-a-time.
Am a marketing and events manager for Corporate Express Federal Sales in Sterling VA.
And yes...I still have the Rod Stewart "look" (hard to retire). Surprisingly...still look on younger side...have held up well over time. Guess I've never grown up!!!
Other love in life is music...still leftover "hair-band" junkie from ...Expand for more
the 80's (Bon Jovi, Whitesnake, Dokken, Poison, Motley and all the others)...still like classic rock from the 70's (remember camping out for Zeppelin tickets)...still get into 80's electronic/wave bands like Duran Duran, Human League, ABC, Berlin...love techno/industrial dance groups like Iris, Clan of Xymoxx, Assemblage 23, Fluke, Crystal Method...even some different stuff like Enigma and Yanni (believe it or not)...and I guess my ultimate faves are Journey, Goo Goo Dolls, New Order and Depeche Mode (saw them twice last year).
Did some DJ work at rock club in my younger 20's and played some bass (not too greatly) in local band.
Sports was always big too...back in HS I of course ran track & cross country...and played tons of basket ball over the past 20 years until injuring knee. Now in mid-life have settled on biking and golf pretty much.
To sum "me" up...what you see is what you get! I am exactly who I want to be...
