Steve's Story
The photo is from our recent vacation to Puerto Rico. I have always wanted to go back since I lived there when I was 8 years old.
I have been working at Merced County Department of Public Works for almost 24 years. Nine more years to retirement. I must be getting old.
I have been married for almost 27 years. We have two children: Jennifer is 25 and works as a lab manager at Dole (remember Wood Fruit Company?, it is now owned ...Expand for more
by Dole). My son, Ian will soon be 20 years old and is finding his way through college.
I continue to be very active in church, just like I was in High School. Now attending Yosemite Church in Merced.
I live in Merced and occasionally see some of the few Atwater High School graduates from 1978 that still live in the area.
If you look, you won't find my picture in the Senior yearbook. Must have been an unfortunate oversight?
