Steve's Story
Life
Some of you may have experienced that feeling of freedom they usually call empty nest syndrome - when the children grow up and strike out on their own. When we reached that point, Velma and I sold our home and business in Longmont and went back to school. We each got our masters at Oklahoma. Velma works for HUD in Washington DC administering homeless programs. I went on to Florida State where I'm working on my PhD - theatre of course. I'm finished wit...Expand for more
h classes and am now in DC as well, researching in the National Archives for my dissertation. Remember that goofy kid who was always in the plays at LHS? By May 2006, I'll have finished with my dissertation and I'll be qualified to poison the minds of your offspring and their progeny as well as I search for a teaching position. Beware! "All the world's a stage." The first two acts have been great, and I'm looking forward to the curtain call.
