Steve's Story
Life
I've been all over. I went to Northeastern Oklahoma State University for one semester after high school, then it was off to Washington state and construction. I spent the next 3 years working construction in Washington, Oregon, California and Texas. I got tired of traveling from job to job so I joined the Navy in 1987. I spent 8 years in, most of those stationed in Bangor, Washington on a submarine, the USS OHIO. After the Navy I got a job with Intel, in Aloha, Oregon making computer chips. I moved to Rio Rancho, New Mexico in 1997 with Intel, and I worked in Colorado Springs with Intel from 2000-2006. I accepted a tem...Expand for more
porary assignment to work with the Intel/Micron Flash Technologies joint venture in Nov. of 2006, spending time in Manassas, Virginia and Lehi, Utah. I quit Intel in August of 2007 because I didn't want to continue to work away from home and didn't want to move away from Colorado. I am currently working in Pueblo, CO at the Trane Company as a maintenance specialist. I married while in the Navy and have been with my wife for 19 years now, we have two kids, a son, Kolton who is 12 and a daughter, Rachel who is 9. We live in Pueblo West, Colorado. I spend most of my spare time enjoying the outdoors with my family and friends.
