Life Recently my nephew graduated High School, that had me do the inevitable...calculate the years since I did the same. After a little math...i came to the conclusion...High School was a long ass time ago! After graduating from College of Dupage and SIU, I joined CNN in it's early years and did a variety of jobs, running camera, Audio, Master Control, Technical Director, some minor Directing for the network. However, the bulk of my CNN tenure has been as a manager of technical staff at the network. I spent 20 yrs at the network HQ in Atlanta. Then, in spring 2005, I became Director of Technical Operations in CNN's Washington DC Bureau. My career has me still drawing on experiences from working for those various high school and college radio stations and newspapers. Counting my high school years, I've been at this now over 30 yrs!!! Hummm, maybe it's time to try something new? I have many great memories of friends growing up and getting thru school. Wonder if any of you have also found themselves in the Washington DC area. I would love to hear from friends from my past and hear your life's experiences. I do have some regret that I have lost track of so many childhood & High School friends. I kept up with a few people as I often visited Woodridge, till my parents left in 2003, following their children and grandkids south.
