Steve's Story
I currently still live in Fargo, I am married with 2 children.
I am a music teacher by day at the Red River Valley Academy in Moorhead, and teach private in-home and worldwide online guitar lessons in the afternoons and evenings.
I have worked at Schmitt Music in Fargo since 1989.
I have a number of different bands I either play shows with, or write songs with on a number of different record labels.
One is called Methuselah. We play metal on the local circuit (ND,SD,MN etc.)
GrimmStine is a little different, it's a band that started with me here in the United States, and Steve Grimmett (lead singer...Expand for more
of Grim Reaper) from England. Our CD is available everywhere, and is distributed by 2 different major labels.
I also play in Avian, a Minneapolis prog/power metal band. We have a number of CDs available everywhere as well, and are distributed by a major label as well.
I also play every Sunday morning on the worship team at Prairie Heights Community Church, which meets at the FargoDome at 9:30 and 11:00am.
I co-write and collaborate with musicians around the world, the list at this point is quite numerous, so I'd have to think about it a bit before I wrote them down.
Anyway, too busy for my own good.
