Steve's Story

Billy Walker, SHS Class of 1959, recently wrote: It is with heavy heart that I pass the news of our friend and brother, Bob Schlosser, now Gone West. Larry Summerson along with Bob's girl friend and sisters were with him this morning as he took his last breath. Arrangements are pending with Messinger's. I graduated from Scottsdale High School with Bob, along with Jack LaSota, Steve Sargent, Rich Rea and other's who will, no doubt, feel a huge empty feeling knowing Bob's wit is no longer our's. Most likely his humor is now confusing the Angels... I have great memories of our canal water skiing taking turns driving and skiing. ...Expand for more
Try gettin' away with that now. 'Course most of us couldn't get up on a pair of skis anymore... I remember our days together at ASU where we were ATO Fraternity Brothers. Bob was present at our last ATO Breakfast this past April 24th. His cancer was preventing golf and that had him more than just upset. I'm reminded that we all are approaching the age when there will be no more hugs, stories, jokes, or tomorrow's. Each day is a gift and today I'm reminded even more so... +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ I am sure that all Bob’s Scottsdale High School friends and classmates share our grief with Bob’s family.
