Lisa's Story
Life
Life has been fun, sad, interesting, hard, great, summed up to say an adventure for the past twenty years. Soon after leaving high school i found myself in a mess of my own making, and looking for answers to the questions of life and a purpose for my own life. i was drawn to the person of Jesus Christ and the God whos' intent was to save me from myself. i threw in my lot with the disciples of Him and in Him, found purpose and meaning to my life.
i married the love of my life, Michael, whom i still love and adore for his tender heart and passion for God, and we had our first son when we were very young and soon after, our daughter. We soon ha...Expand for more
d two more to bring the grand total to four children. They are doing well Living with us in the Dominican republic. They are fabulous kids and show me that God can do amazing things through regular people only looking to serve God. They are all honor roll students with amazing drama and musical abilities.
We have spent our time doing mission work in the Dominican Republic, we live there now. i am working in water filtration getting water to the poor and teaching ceramic art classes.
i have found purpose and as i walk on with the God who cares for me, i am finding the answers that i need for now and trust Him for the ones unanswerable for later.
