Steven's Story
Life
After High School I pulled a stint in the Air Force travelling to Northern California, Colorado, Alaska, and a short visit to Bosnia. In the Air Force I worked with satellites and nuclear missiles. (you know all that super secret stuff) Now I am Out of the Air Force and completed the California tradition of divorce. No children that have found me (joking). I had a good time in the San Francisco Bay area. I worked for Sony Computer Entertainment America (Responsible for the playstation and for computer game software) as the Director of public and Media Relations. Lived in Tampa for a bit, hand a hand in a night club but ended up as a firefighter while still trying to do something in music (writing, performing, etc). Now I live in Phoenix, Arizona (don't ask why-- it still is a touchy area), and not too impressed with the city. The Music scene sucks, but fortunately have met some really special people that I consider very lucky for them to call me friend. I'd like to hear from anyone from the past just to see how everything is going and to know you are safe and strong. So either find some way to talk to me here or we can catch up with some words on my addy whis is in parenthesis (stevenco) because (76) I am (at) not sure if it's (hot) worth it to (mail) pay to be a gold member here. School
Even though my first true love was probably Anna Legaspi, and I would not change anything about our relationship. I think by biggest crush was Karen Crandall (Felt). We connected really well, and man she was hot-- probably still is. We never got the chance to get together, timing issues. Teacher.... Mr. Kline, he was just so full of knowledge and insight yet so humble. He never once boasted about his musicianship, but when he picked up his horn and played for us (which was extremely rare--- that should change by the way), simply mezmorizing. Craziest memory..... Me, John Boroski, James Webb, and Matt Torres. Summer before senior year. At Band Camp (yeah, yeah yeah, "this one time at band camp" I get it). Thought for our lunch break we'd take a short cut through a freshly seeded and watered football field. We got about 3/4 of the way across before the car got stuck. And I mean stuck. We're talking when we opened the doors they scraped the ground. Thought we'd be slick so after pushing the car out we washed it and changed shoes, too bad we missed a spot and when the police and the principal came into the band room, they noticed the mud on James' socks. Man he sang like a canary-- thanks James. Or when Me, Matt Torres and Clint Hoover got arrested at 3am for violation of curfew--- actually thats lame, nevermind
