Life
Here's a quickie for now.
Graduated from OSU in Electronics Engineering, then relocated to Silicon Valley (San Jose), CA. in 1983, and still here. VP of a semiconductor startup Quicksilver Technology, doing new type of microprocessor-like technology. Married a girl from Stillwater (and OSU grad) in 1984 that Ed Curry introduced me to just before he died. They worked at Pistol Patties together. Played football at OSU in 1980, but hurt in oilfield accident, so had to quit. Did WebTV deal for Sony with another Mason Grad, Chris Ekren in 1995. Very strange coincidence. Worked for Apple, Sony, VLSI/Philips, Motorola, etc. Two Patents in microprocessor design. Ride motorcycles, jetboat in SFO Bay and Delta. Fish for stripers. Built a recordin...Expand for more
g studio in house. Shared one with an original Doobie Bros. Do lots of international travel. Note Japanese friends from Sony in my photo. Man is Pres. at Sony. I made a little money. Try to keep up with my friends. See Coach Eddy quite a bit. He's lived out here since 1990. Bought an Eric Clapton guitar in 1999. The one he always played "Tulsa Time" on. Own California real-estate, but should have bought a lot more.
Oh yeah, almost got killed in 1981 by street gang in LA. Shot at me, but hit Bryan Engler. Luckily I got him to hospital in time, so he's ok.... well that's debatable, isn't it?
