Started work in Portland Oregon with small Furniture Rental company (Custom Leasing). Moved to Calif to help company expand. Left to work at IBM in San Jose, CA worked in Sales for 5 years (typewriters / dictation / early computers). Left to start own company in furniture rental - ran that for 25 years and sold to public company. At same time started a software company w...Expand for more
riting and selling customized software for IBM System 32 System 34 and System 38 -- sold that company. Worked for "dot com" for a couple of years -- made lots of money (on paper) never cashed in the options so the good news was no tax liability. Past five years have been more or less retired, consulting in technoloy design and project managing design and construction of data centers.
