My Job
I do construction work as I have for most of my adult life...mostly welding now. It is not very glamorous but I get to do a lot of creative things. I also am a blacksmith but that is mostly for the fun of it. It is a lot of fun to fire up a coal forge. I have several forged iron art pieces at a gallery in Silverton, Colorado. I also make drill steel for the miners here in Arizona. I like to compete in the hard rock drilling contests using my own steel. I took second place in hand drilling at the Arizona State Championships this year...I am not a miner, however.

I speak it. Something about a West Texas accent and the French language do not compliment each other. I have vacationed in France for the last three summers and those have been very enjoyable experiences. I could see myself living there. The french country side especially in Normandy is very beautiful. The french people have been very kind to me.
College
I took a Bachelor of Arts degree in music (voice-tenor) from Abilene Christian University. I have sung with two opera companies: one in upstate New York and one here in Phoenix. I enjoyed the performance companies but there was not much money in it and I wanted to eat at least once a day!lol
