Steven's Story

Life Always busy. I have been around the world (not military) and seen a great deal of cultures and people. I have recently remarried to a wonderful woman that is the love of my life. Between us we have seven (yes 7!) children, ages 13-21. Accomplished a lot in my life, and thinking there's still a lot more left! Glass is half full, and want to drink the most from life! Job Fulfilled my fantasy early in life. Started racing karts when I was 15. By the time I received my Masters, I was designing electronics for F-1 race teams in Europe. Later moved back to the US to designing electronics for IndyCar racing. Along the way, spent off-seasons designing electronics for NASCAR race teams. Some of my designs made it on TV and won two Emmy's along the way. Now I am more mainstreamed managing design teams developing electronics for production vehicles for various OEMs....Expand for more
Marriage A sacred event in my life. It is my life. Mistakes made along the way, but found my true path and true love. Always a challenge, but anything really worth anything in life is worth the challenge. I hope it lasts forever. Kids More work than I ever imagined. More joy than I thought possible. My oldest is in college. My youngest is still in H.S. and racing karts as well. He was rookie of the year in 2007. His 2008 schedule takes him to Ohio (Mid-Ohio), Michigan (Grattan), Indiana (Putnam Park), Wisconsin (Elkhart Lake), West Virginia (Summit Point), and Georgia (Road Atlanta). School Teacher that inspired me the most? Mr. Korcheck for sure. Challenged me to no end and made it fun along the way. It's always nice to be challenged, inspired, and pushed harder than you think possible. It yields great things down the road, and I am very thankful for that.
