Steven's Story

11-07-09 WOW!!! How time flies...46 years old... It's been a little over a year since I updated this thing. Not much has changed. I opened my eyes this morning and once again for this I am grateful. Rose has settled in to her new job and is still glad she made the move. Christopher is working for a home services company for now and like everyone else is waiting for this economy to turn around so some other opportunities he is working on come available. Stewart is still in school and 'all the chicks dig him'. The boys got that gift... I missed out. It must skip a generation. The dog is fine. The cat is still alive. The fish are still strokin'. We didn't make it to Ocean City with the boat this year. Rose and Chris had to work and Stewart had to attend school. So... I took my "new"(NOT!) Corvette ( it's a 1987 "beater") down...Expand for more
for a week with the folks and stayed at Castaways Campground. They did a great job remodeling that place. Their is just something about Ocean City that I love. Rose and I did make it down for Bike Week this year...We had a BLAST!!! I also learned that at 46, I can still ride a dirt bike...but your a sore as HELL the next day. On a more somber note, a few friends passed away and to their families go our thoughts and prayers. Just a few thoughts from the heart... Every morning when you open your eyes...SMILE. You were given a great gift that, today, many did not receive. Smile and say "Hello" to a perfect stranger. It doesn't cost you a thing and you may have given that person the hope that they needed to continue on... I'll be back with you as soon as I can. Gotta run...Looking forward to hearing from y'all...C Ya...
