Life
Wow! I guess it's time to update! My wife, Emily, and I are living in Aberdeen with our two sons, Bryce, born in 2000, and Garrett, who was born in 2005. Bryce is a bright kid with his dad's not-so-great study habits and mom's short fuse. He has a lot to say, and loves to swim. Garrett is less of a talker than Bryce was at his age, but loves to "check things out" and is always trying to do whatever anybody else is doing. He already thinks he can swim better than his brother, and can never figure out why we are always trying to hold on to him. I have known Emily since probably middle school or so, when her family used to come down in the summers and visit from Juneau, where she grew up. d it has been fireworks ever since. Aberdeen is a nice, quirky little town, with lots of rain, but mild temperatures (cooler in the summer, warmer in the winter, wetter all the time). The economy is not all that great, but we are doing pretty well at work, so I won't complain about that. Speaking of which, I have a 5 minute commute. I never hear the news on the radio, because I am never in the car long enough. We are pecking away at updating our house built in 1920, slowly removing evidence of the late '60s remodel. I guess having grown up in a house that was never completely remodeled, I should have seen this coming. I do enjoy our home, though, and it is about 100' from the elementary school (bonus). Anyhow, life is good, "and that's all I have to say about that."
