Steven's Story
After high school a series of jobs and 4 months in the army. Never got further from home than Ft Lewis.
Spent 1968 to 1975 working, drinking, and studying. First house in Fauntleroy in 1972. B.A. with double major in History and Philosopy in 1975.
Spent 1975 to 1979 working and drinking. Read almost all of Will & Ariel Durant's The Story of Civilization. I skipped Our Oriental Heritage, who cares about the Middle East.
Spent 1980 being retrained as a computer programmer. No substance abuse, logic requires sobriety

With a career comes money and money buys stuff like travel, a bigger house and cooler cars. Got to share my life with a bright and beautiful woman but it did not last.
I'm retired now and and thought I would spend my time attending to the items I neglected while I was too busy working. But my mother now needs care to live independently. I now spend part of each day as Mom's lunch lady. Recently met another bright and beautiful woman. As we were classmates, we can talk for hours about you! We know what you did and we know who you are.
