Military
Military story....hmm....it's not all that great now...i've gotten in trouble about once every 3 months but nothing too serious.....
It all started back in a rainy/snow/sleet mix...oh wait, maybe it was sunny out...whatever...
I signed up for 6 freakin years back in March of 03 and i thought it'd be cool. Well, i'm wrong. Virgina Beach really sucks. FREEZING cold in the winter and HOTTER than a you know what in the summer. It's funny, if it snows more than half an inch(yeah, half an inch), the base closes down cause apparently VDOT and the base doesn't believe in snow removal equipment. Anyway, I'm an Avionics(aircraft electronics) Technician. I deal mostly with circuit cards that look close to those inside a computer, for those that have opened a computer. learance inorder to do my job. I'm sure you guys in the Army think you got it bad...there's no good lookin girls that work at my base that's single. They're all married.
Anywho..working present to past...Tech School sucked which is also the place i got in trouble most but i was also the 1 awarded most of the awards. Kinda balanced out if you ask me. I wonder what the thickest book someone at college had to read...was it 500 pages? 1000? Well, i've had to read books that started on page 1 on the 1st book and ended with 2,000 on the 5th book.
BMT(Basic Military Training) = stupid. I think i learned how to march...oh wait, i was in marching band...guess i didn't learn a thing...no, take that back, i learned how to shoot a M-16A2 rifle.
On that note, I work the main gate in the wee hours of the morning. My shop doesn't like it, but too bad cause they're the 1's that volunselected(or voluntold) me.
