Steven's Story
Life
I currently live in central New Jersey with my wife Kathy and my two daughters.
I have new videos up at my web site of my recent performance singing Cavaradossi in "Tosca" with Opera at Florham. I also recently sang the world premier concert performance of Dennis Hyams's "The Golden Arrow" with the Opera Project in New Jersey. Last fall I performed with the Ridge Light Opera in New Jersey in their productions of "HMS Pinafore" and "September Song," plus I made my Wagner debut with the Baroque Society of New Jersy as Mime in "Siegfried."
I performed a series of concerts this past December featuring songs from my album of Christmas music called "Behold that Star!", available online at cdbaby. Additionally, I was the tenor soloist with the Voices Chorale in New Jersey in a concert of Lessons and Carols as well as Respighi's "Laud to the Nativity." This past January I performed the role of Macduff in Verdi's "Macbeth" with the Amici Opera.

lfredo Fettucine in Opera New York's off-Broadway production of Tales from the Manhattan Woods, I appeared as Eisenstein in Die Fledermaus in Connecticut, and will do the role of Alfred in the same operetta with the Maine Grand Opera over New Years. Last year I also appeared at Carnegie Hall singing Mozart's Requiem and Vesperae solennes de confessore (K.339). I performed Cavaradossi in OperaDelaware's production of Tosca as well as Edgardo in Lucia di Lammermoor and Rodolfo in La Bohéme with the Lyric Opera of San Antonio. In earlier seasons, I performed the roles of Luigi in Il Tabarro with the Des Moines Metro Opera, Edgardo in Lucia di Lammermoor with the Gold Coast Opera and Don Jose in Carmen with the Natchez Opera Festival.
When I'm not performing, I have a very busy voice studio with about 35 students. Additionally, I have just joined the voice faculty at Caldwell College.
