Life What a year this has been!! On December 14 2007 I was diagnosed with two anuerysms on the brain and a mild stroke. The surgeons opened my head up and clipped the anueryms the next morning in a 10 hour operation. They said I would have died in a day or two if not operated on. I recovered nicely, no rehab just a 12" long scar over my left ear, and was sent home on Christmas Eve. I have amazingly recovered 100%, both mentally and physically, even though some pals were suprised to hear they could even find my brain. Folks in our great little community amazed us by their show of support and assistance during that time. I'm still in the Borough of Merchantville. My wife, the former Cindy Egan (PHS '83) and three daughters (thats why all the grey) are living in our 3rd home in M'ville. Staying involved with Borough Council. In fact three days after my release from Thomas Jefferson Univ Hospital (great place), I walked to my next Council meting. I dig seeing other classmates at swim meet...Expand for more
