Steven's Story
Life
I attended Brady Lake School from 1965-1971, went to Davey Jr. High approximately 6 months before my family moved to Ravenna, Ohio, where I attended Brown Jr. High.
I graduated from Ravenna High School one year earlier than my classmates in 1977. I married Barbara Davidson from Mantua in 1977 and we will be celebrating our 35th anniversary Oct 15, 2012. We moved to Elkhart,IN one week before the blissard of 1978. I have a daughter who is 33 married with three children living in NC and a 28 yr old son who lives in Indiana. I have a 2 yr business degree from Indiana University South Bend, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Chadwick University Birmingham. I have been in a management position with several different companies since moving to Indiana. I bought my own trucking company in July of 2009 and love being the owner/CEO/President of my own company ...Expand for more
after selling for other major LTL trucking companies. My wife and I also own a Guardianship Business and have been actively serving the Lord faithfully over our past 35 yrs and credit our successful marriage to this fact. I have owned seven properties (6 rentals) in the past, but have started to downsize recently. We built a new two story house on 3+ acres in the country and have a Chocolate lab, (who just turned 5). The one teacher that inspired me the most was my second grade school teacher from Brady Lake Mrs Donavan. My biggest crush was my seventh grade teacher Ms Truex at Davey Jr. High. I would definitely do it all over again. I only wish now that I could've stayed with my original Brady Lake class mates through high school.
