Steven's Story
Well, following graduation from LHS I attended UW-Eau Claire, completed my Bachelor's in Criminal Justice. I went to work for Wausau Police Department, didn't care for some of the "issues" at that department, and moved on to insurance investigations for State Farm in Milwaukee. The insurance stuff was interesting, but I couldn't handle being tied to a desk 40 hours a week. e. I decided I should try something different and always had an interest in teaching, so I moved to Arizona and because an 8th Grade Science Teacher. I was surprised one day right before my first period class with the US Border Patrol calling me. I accepted a position as an Agent at Yuma Station, Yuma Sector. I left the USBP due to a training injury, returned to Eau Claire to recover, and then returned to federal law enforcement with the Dept. of Homeland Security, CBP, working in northwestern Montana.
