Stu's Story
I've been happily married for 20 years to my lovely and talented wife, Andi. We have a handsome, (despite my bias) brilliant and creative 10-year-old son, Marshall. After 18 years in Los Angeles working in computer education, we moved back to Ventura County -- Thousand Oaks to be specific. I am now an Instructional Designer for The Cheesecake Factory (I create training materials and train the staff of all of the company's restaurants; I also eat a lot of good food). My wife is the librarian for Walnut Elementary in Newbury Park. We have three cats (Chloe, Atlas and Meldor) and the same California dessert tortoise (Tungsten) some of you may remember from when we were kids.

sketball and football games and did the morning announcements with Karen.
My son and I really enjoy creating wacky science experiments, like making alcohol-powered rockets out of water bottles or playing with incredibly-powerful magnets we get from United Nuclear.
You may not know that I was the guy inside the hood of the Volkswagen in the homecoming parade that lit the smoke bomb (see page 19 of the '82 yearbook).
Despite being on the speech team, I was very shy (socially) in high school. A lot of you really cool people intimidated me. I hope you didn't think I was aloof. I was a geeky dork and was afraid that no one liked me. With a little maturity, I've realized the errors of that thinking. All in all, it was great going to Royal with you all!
