Stuart's Story
Life
Between 1977-1985 I worked as a manager for Pizza Hut for a total of five years, and as an assistant manager at a Free Service Tire Store in Newport, TN for six months. I attended Walters State Community College for a year and a half putting myself through school by working as a Midnight Auditor six nights a week at the Best Western Hotel in Newport, TN, at McDonalds in Gatilinburg, TN three to five days a week and worked as an umpire three to four nights per week. (no, I didn't get much sleep during this time period) In 1985 I joined the U.S. Army. In 1990 I changed career fields in the army into the Military Intelligence career field and worked in this field until retiring from the army after serving a little over 21 years at the end of October 2006. I have had the opportunity to see much of the world and while serving our great nation I have been stationed in South Korea, Kentucky; Oklahoma; Germany; Maryland, Hawaii, Virginia, and Texas while having the opportunity and pleasure of having worked at the National Security Agency (NSA) in both Maryland and also their sites in Hawaii on the island of Oahu (yes, this was a nice three year paid vacation) and in Korea and also worked in Texas as a Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) instructor of s...Expand for more
oldiers new to the Signals Intelligence career field, and in Virginia as a graduate student in the Postgraduate Intelligence Program (PGIP) at the Joint Military Intelligence College in Washington, DC. Completed an AA degree, a BS degree, and am also a graduate of the Masters program Postgraduate Intelligence Program (PGIP) all while serving our great nation over the course of those 21 plus years. Since retiring from the army at the end of October 2006 I have worked as a Biometric All-Source Intelligence Analyst government contractor at the National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC), as an Operations Analyst as a government contractor at the Installation Operations Center (IOC), also later as a government civilian Special Security Officer/Security Specialist running a classified facility for a Special Forces unit in the army, followed by working for five years as a government contractor training soldiers on some of the Command Post systems or software in use by today's United States Army. I also worked as a government civilian once again in a 1yr term position and now I am now back working as a government contractor. My wife and I married in 1985 and my wife and I have a beautiful daughter born in December 1987 and a beautiful granddaughter too.
