Stuart's Story
Stuart is from Ann Arbor, Michigan. Stuart is married. Stuart's teaching overseas included Wainwright High School. Stuart later attended University of Cambridge (UK Chinese culture, language, politics), University of Michigan (ABD Political Science, sub area Comparative Politics, concentration China), University of Notre Dame (BA, MA History/English). Stuart, with wife Barbara, found the Chinese Art Company The Jade Dragon.

My first Asian art purchase was in Japan, but the collecting habit increased dramatically while living and teaching in both Taiwan and England. In 1983, our daughter was born and I left the University to start The Jade Dragon, which specializes in East Asian Antiques. I often travel to various places in the Far East to keep abreast of current collecting trends. We have reduced our show schedule to two venues: the Arts of Pacific Asia Show/or/ The Bohemian Asian Art Show in New York City, and, The International Antiques Fair (IAF) at the Convention Center in Hong Kong every Spring.
