Sue's Story
Life
Married to Brian for 18 years. Settled in - Cottleville. Attend St Joseph Catholic Church in Cottleville. Have had many pets over the years, but we now have no pets, though discussions of getting a dog again keep coming up. Cannot decide between a black lab or a mini pin.
Family
Hubby Brian works at Dobbs, and has for 19 years. We have no children. My father passed away in 2000 due to an auto accident. My mother just turn 83 this year and lives in a retirement association. My sister Sandy lives in the Kansas City, KS area with her hubby and son Ian, who just graduated High School. My brother Dave lives in St Charles. My in-laws are now both retired, now we're looking into getting a home the 4 of us like and can settle in, out in Dardenne Prairie area maybe.
School
My favorite class in high school was math, but my favorite teachers were Mrs Hillemann (gym) and Mrs...Expand for more
Murdock (spanish). I still keep in touch with Senora Murdock. She was a big help when I was still pursuing a teaching degree.
College
Haven't been back to college in a few years. Needed time to rethink what I want to study. Studied teaching, psychology, social sciences, and then to computer science. I just am not comfortable with the database stuff, and Java class was a disappointment.
If I ever get time, I might go back to studying web design, but right now I am happy where I am.
Workplace
I have been at Schnucks for 21 years now. I worked in the accounting dept up until September of 2008, when I decided to jump ship and move to the merchandising dept. Instead of paying thousands of invoices a month, I work on maintaining pricing on thousands of items. My forte is beverages, all but not the alcohol ones. It was a fairly easy switch, but I am still learning things.
