Sue's Story
Hello to all of my Epps friends, after graduating in 1970, I moved to Monroe and worked at State Farm Insurance 8 years. In Oct. 1973, I married Roy Fortune from Carthage, MS, took a 12 year "maternity leave" and had a son, Jeremy and a daughter, Shelley. Went back to work at State Farm in 1991 and worked in Monroe until the office closed in 2005. I then transferred to Little Rock, AR in August 2005 where I work in the Chenal Operation Center (claims office) as a Section Secretary II in the Special Investigation Unit. Lusk was my "Role Model")! On Oct. 12, 2009, Roy and I celebrated our 36th anniversary. We are very happily married and enjoy camping in our RV and going to Bluegrass Festivals. Roy plays the guitar, mandolin and banjo. I enjoy singing harmony with many of our bluegrass friends. We have 5, soon to be 6 grandkids. Shelley lives in West Monroe and Jeremy lives in Arlington, TX., so many of our weekends are spent traveling to see them. We attend and are active in an Assembly of God church in L.R. and are enjoying living in Arkansas! The Lord has truly blessed us!
