Sue Lyn's Story
Life
The last 20 years have been unbelievable. I never expected to be doing what I'm doing, where I'm doing it. I finished a Master's in Child and Developmental Psychology in 2004 specializing in Autism in children and adults and will now live in China, teaching parents of children with autism there.
I have been living in Hong Kong for two years, learning Cantonese, living with the poor and learning about Chinese culture. I love living there and am planning to relocate there permanently.

I am able to travel as I have not yet married, but I still plan, too. I am not planning on kids as taking care of kids with autism is a full time undertaking.
After SHS, I went to Monroe to NLU. While I was there, I had to learn some really hard life lessons and get my head screwed on correctly. I was pretty wild in high school and that got a lot wilder at college. After facing some really serious and frightening consequences, I really felt like God clearly gave me a 2nd chance. I am very grateful. He has made my life into something wonderful.
