Hey Wildcats! I moved to California in 1970 and am still there! I visited our old school last year in October and was amazed at how it seemed to have frozen in time!!! I remember how sad I was when we moved. Hoping that someone, anyone, I might have known is still out there!
I am an Office Manager for a Pedodontist in Covina, a suburb of Los Angeles. I have been with the Doctor for almost 29 years! Yipes, doesn't seem possible.
My Father, Bruce passed away in 1977 of cancer. My Mom, Connie is still living and remarried 24 years ago to my step-...Expand for more
father, Scott. She has dementia and chronic fatique so it is a challenge. My brother, Mike is living in San Diego these days. Neither one of us is currently married and are considering moving back to the Peoria/Pekin area in the next couple of years. It would be nice to see old friends.
Living in California isn't all it is cracked up to be. You do have wonderful weather, many opportunities (I would miss Disneyland!!) but you can't beat having Family nearby.
