Sue's Story
I dropped out of high school in 1980 when I met my husband, we have been married this coming march 30 years. We will have been together this coming may 32 years. We have 2 children, together, and my husband has 2 boys by a previous marriage. We have 14 grandchildren total. I went back to Adult Ed in 1998 at Jefferson High and earned my high school diploma, finally. I started working for Frenchtown Charter Township in 1999 as an Assessing clerk where I work at that for a few years until I obtained my level 1 Assessor's certificate and was promoted to a Field inspector. I also obtained my level 2 but there was never a possession for my to advance any further. In 2007 my daughters life turned upside down when her fiance decided to hang himself in the garage. I ended up having to raise the 2 younger of her kids and I am still doing so. In 2010 I was diagnosed with Fibormyalgia, I also have arthritis in my spin ...Expand for more
and nerve damage on the left side of my body. Needless to say I was forced to quite because I could no longer perform the job that I was hired to do. So now I sit home every day and play Farmville and keep in touch with my friends on Facebook.
I always wanted to be a Veterinarian when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were wrong. I love animals too much to ever think of having to deal with the thought of putting them to sleep all the time, it was to hard on me when I had to take my poor old Jack Russell and have her put to sleep. Instead I preferred to go into the taxidermy business. I found that it so much more rewording for me to fix them up and make them look like they where alive again.
I am a big Tigers fan, I love the Detroit Tigers, I don't care if they win, or lose as long as I can watch them play. Ordonez, Cabara, and Verlander, There my favorites.
