Profile of Sunil Issar
Sunil was educated at Sherwood College Nainital and graduated from St.StephenÂs College, New Delhi in 1987 with a BA in History. He joined the ITC GroupÂs, Hotel Division in their ÂInternational Hotel Association recognized Management Training Program. Subsequently he was fortunate to work in various capacities at Welcomgroup Hotels in New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore and Agra.
With the changes in the Motor Vehicle Act in 1989 and the launch of the Self Drive Rent a Cab scheme in India, Sunil, was the Operations Manager for the first global car rental agency in India  Budget Rent a Car.
This was followed by a 3 year tenure with the Hyatt Regency Delhi where he was the Sales Manager with a specific focus on the Japanese and Korean business segments.

was focused at both the tourist and corporate business segments. He then moved on to be the Branch Manager of ITC Travel House at Bangalore catering to the Corporate, MICE, Inbound and Outbound Tourist segments.
In 1987, he joined Wipro Limited to set up their Travel and Hospitality function focusing on the travel & ticketing needs of all the Group Companies, Hotel services procurement and all overseas visitors. This finally led to the setting up an in-house IATA approved Travel Agency for the Wipro Group which he led as General Manager.
Sunil has also managed the Administration & Facilities function for Wipro BPO across India and is currently Vice President for Administration & Facilities for OfficeTiger Database Systems India Pvt. Ltd, based at Chennai.
Sunil has been a member of the Travel Agents Association of India, the SKAL Club and also a speaker at the Amadeus South Asia Customer Conference at Malaysia. He is a die hard traveler and has so far visited 26 countries across the globe!
