Life Well for the Canterbury folks...most of you knew me as the quiet, brooding but friendly, volleyball/track/soccer player from Lehigh. After Canterbury I went on to Oglethorpe University in Atlanta where I spent all four years as a prevet/biology major. I played competitive volleyball there and did well in the sport, becoming ranked in the nation, and a decorated athlete...(still waiting for them to retire my jersey ;) though) Had a blast in college and was in and out of love a couple times in Georgia. After Oglethorpe I decided to get a few years of experience in the vet med field as a tech at Dunwoody Animal Hospital in Georgia, and worked at Cowboys (ATL folks now where that is)for some extra cash. I ended up staying in the ATL area until 2002. That year I applied and got accepted to Ross University School of Vetrinary Medicine in the West Indies. Ross held the appeal of graduating vet school in 3 years instead of 4, more surgical experience, and duh...school in the Carribean! So I moved to the West Indies for 2 years and 4 months. The fun I had down there made undergrad seem like prison. I played on the St. Kitts National Women's Volleyball Team while down there, which sounds great but was really not as good as my college team, but is still cool to be able to say... I met my current beau down there (we're going on 4 years now). He is actually from FL too, but was working down there at the Marriott resort as their golf course superintendent.
