Alison (Sunny)'s Story

My life in 25 words or less.... College at Middlebury and University of Michigan; Peace Corps in Afghanistan; moved to San Francisco to create "counter culture" magazine; three wonderful kids (and now six little grandchildren!); divorced; lived on sailboat in Sausalito Harbor and edited local newspaper; went to Gaza and West Bank as freelance reporter; started nonprofit organization called "If Americans Knew" to tell Americans the facts about Israel-Palestine and recently wrote ...Expand for more
a book called "Against Our Better Judgment: The Hidden History of How the U.S. Was Used to Create Israel," which I'm excited to say has sold over 30,000 copies and is a best-seller on Amazon. I now live near Berkeley, California and would be glad to be in touch with former classmates! Regarding my high schools: I attended Narimasu High School in Japan my freshman year. My family then moved to Robins Air Force Base, where I attended Warner Robins High School, graduating in 1965.
