Susan's Story
Life
I met my husband, Scott, from a mutual friend. We were married in 1991 and lived in Salina until July 1999. We currently live in Eastern Tennessee in a very small community. The closest Walmart is 25 miles away and the closest mall is in Knoxville which is 45 miles away. It is a big culture shock when you move from Salina to here, but we love it. We have 3 kids. is 11 and in 6th grade. When I'm not chauffering the kids between golf practice, baseball practice and softball practice I substitute teach at the grade school. I have all the perks of being a teacher, I just don't have the same class everyday. I don't get bored and can say "no I can't work" if I have doctor's appointments or orthodontist appointments. It really can be a full time job. I absolutely love it! My parents still live in Salina.
