Susan's Story
Life
Life...well, I can't complain. Got two beautiful daughters who make me extremely happy when they aren't driving me insane. Got a good job, new truck, great family, and life is falling together rather nicely. Looking forward to the future and what it holds for me and how much of the things I want to happen, actually happen.
School
Hell no, I would not do high school over again. I am so happy to be out of that place! You have nooooo idea. High school is really just a waste of time and energy. Yeah, there were some good times and great friends but after high school is where life is at. Where you make the life you want and see your dreams come true.
College
My Masters is done and I have one of those nifty hoodie things. It hasn't made too much difference in my life at this point and time and I wasn't all that excited that it was over other than I di...Expand for more
dn't have to write any more reports. But according to many people, some day the Masters will make all the difference in the world!
Workplace
I started out working for a construction company. That was really fun and I learned a lot. Then moved on to real estate and doing a website. Pretty cool too. Then on to a Boys and Girls Club, then a school. Then Juvenile Probation which was an absolute blast at times and very rewarding. Now my job is great because I only have to be there part time so I have time to pursue other interests but it holds very little value for me. Definitely not one of those jobs that you say, WOW this is great, I can't wait to be here for another 20 years. Yuck!
It has been a great learning experience at all my jobs. I have been pretty fortunate that I have had good bosses and co-workers, who don't make my life completely miserable.
