Susan's Story
2006 was a big year. Left my husband. Moved to Virgina then back to Kentucky. Spent time with an old friend from school. Had a blast. Made lots of good memories. My husband of 18 years past away, though we were separated at the time it was still very hard to deal with. I miss talking to him a lot.
2007 changed jobs after 20 plus years in retail pharmacy. I now work in Insurance. Very different from pharmacy. y'all know an old dog and new tricks takes time. I love a challenge and learning new things. My mother-in-law (also my very good friend) passed away. I miss her a lot. My mom came to live with me. It's going ok, not great but ok.
2008 Not off to great start but looking up. I hope to buy a home this year or after the first of 2009. My son graduates high ...Expand for more
school and starts college in the fall. It's only April, hopefully the rest of the year will be good. In June I bought my first house.
I'm looking forward to my next 40 years. Possibly having someone to share it with and if not I hope I have lots of grandkids.
2025 Lots changed since was on here last. Love being a grandma. I have 2 wonderful granddaughters 6 yrs old and 6 months old.
Went back to pharmacy work at University of Ky Specialty Pharmacy and after 10 years I was just promoted to Business Manager. It has been the best pharmacy job I’ve ever worked for.
My mom came to live with me in 2007 and passed away in 2023. Really miss her.
I won’t say life has been easy over the last 40 years but I have more good days than bad and for that I’m truly blessed.
