Susan's Story
Life
Butler U 1973, then got married & worked at Methodist Hospital. Marriage didn't last long.
Went back to school and got MSW @ Indiana U School of Social Work in 1978. Worked in adoptions in Indiana.
Went to Europe on a 3 month Social Work Exchange Program in 1980 and stayed. Married a French man.
Moved with husband to Northern California in 1988.
Two sons (1989 & 1993).
Hubby left me for his secretary in 1994. Took a while to realize how fortunate I was that he did.

e done lots of kinds of social work - adoption, mental health, disability, and HIV prevention. Now work with kids with developmental disabilities, and do international adoption part-time. Poor but happy.
Older son has autism, so I'm very active in the autism community.
Have pet birds - cockatiels - who keep having babies. (Want one?)
Haven't written my book yet, but do write letters to the editor, etc.
Never have enough hours in the day, but still manage to waste time online.....
