Life
Wow!! I can't believe I'm really doing this! I'm excited that I might be able to hear from you, my classmates from the '76 Graduating Class. I guess most of us will or already have turned the BIG 5-0 this year. I feel as though this birthday is one of the reasons why I want to touch base with you. It seems just yesterday that I graduated.
Since I can remember, all I ever wanted to do with my life was have a wonderful husband and be a mom. I have been blessed with both. However, I was only able to have one child. So, all my dreams came true.
I moved to Montgomery, Alabama in 1977 and worked in the banking and insurance industry until 1989. I married Spencer in 1985 and we had our first and only child 1989. She is now 19. I have not worked outside the home since the day she was born. I dedicated my life to raising her which also gave me the awesome opport...Expand for more
unity of homeschooling. She graduated in 2006.
I also surrendered my life to Jesus Christ in 1987. Jesus is now Lord of my life and my Savior! My life is much different than what you may remember me in high school or even at Girard. Praise the Lord!! I now live in Millbrook, Alabama with my husband and daughter. My life is all about Jesus, my husband, and my daughter as well as our many friends we have been blessed with. We enjoy camping, fishing, riding four wheelers on the farm; spending time together as a family and of course, our church activites.
I look forward to one day having grandchildren. I see most of you already have them. My time will come. I look forward to hearing all about you, my classmates.
