Susan's Story
My dad was transferred during February of my senior year at DGHSN - I stayed on, and essentially left Downers on the day we graduated. I graduated from Creighton Memorial St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing (Omaha) in 1972, and joined the Navy Nurse Corps. ong Beach. When he left the military, we settled in Bellevue, WA, a Seattle suburb. There I started a business providing billing and administrative support for anesthesiologists.
I retired in 2013. I am divorced, still living in Bellevue. I have not been back to Downers Grove since 1984, when my dad died. I play lots & lots of duplicate bridge, enjoy movies and travel, and adore time with my 2 sons and my granddaughter. Life is good!!
