Susan's Story
This is a short term visit here[ 3 month subscription], thinking I might be able to find friends of mine and my sibs who would want to celebrate w/ us our mother and her life at a gathering for a mem event for her this June. She died the last day of last year.
I'm not finding the site functions that well. I did connect w/ one grammar school friend. Mostly it's a dud, questions dont fit me, the whole place needs a revamping.
oh, yeah.., I live in Louisville, KY. I consider it half way home[ MA] after living in Temple, Texas a cpl of yrs. Travel a bit, not as much as my husband. Want to paint more. Love my grandson! all of 3 1/2 yrs old. he's the best! Enjoy chamber music, and go to opera far more than I ever had hoped! need to pick up my fiddle again..., walk, cross ctry ski when I can. Garden, of course. ummm.. more to come, maybe?

oh, yeah, and Terry was right, I do tend to be argumenative, which I argued intensely about w/ him at the time he brought it up. I believe I have addressed that a few times over. It works when it works however... .., or unfortunately, i guess.
More: went to umass, on to oregon to become a chiropractor. private practice until 1998; remarried and moved to TX and now KY. 2 sons, 3 step kids, and one grandson, and 2 grandchildren steppies in MA, VT, and ID. pretty much retired in '98 tho a jill of all trades in btn 'everything else'. taught yoga a smidge in TX, and struggling to get organized and be in one place long enough [ bk and forth form KY to MA, and Ky to TX regularly] to do more painting/art work.
Peacenik, gardener, 4th rate fiddler.., tho havent picked it up in a cpl of yrs.
love movies tho only in small theatres: no video/dvd mania here. more later if i return...
2015 update: now in VT the past 5 years. painting more, gardening extensively.
